Cuz the ball was anyway going in the direction of the goals. If Amorebieta didn't touch the ball, it'd still go in, but he made an effort to save the ball, but failed, which is understandable. By the same logic, if the ball would be going out and Amorebieta scored it by mistake, it'd count as an own goal. It's written rules by the way) not a product of my imagination or a conjecture.
